The Henry County Cancer Society was established in December 2021. We
are a not for profit organization ( 501c 3) that is committed to helping ease
the burden to those on their journey with cancer.
The Cancer Society of Henry County was formed in the 1970”s and led by
Rosemary Muncy who passed away in 2020. She created a field of interest
fund at the Henry County Community Foundation so that cancer patients
could be helped forever. Due to her generosity money will be given to the
newly formed Henry County Cancer Society yearly from her field of interest
fund so that her legacy can continue by helping cancer patients.
A scholarship was also created at the foundation for those students entering
the medical field.
Our goal is to partner with other local agencies involved with cancer
assistance to utilize all resources available to help those in need.
